slide rules were used extensively in the early part of the 20th century. They are still very colleactable and a great way to increase your mathematic knowledge. We have been collecting slide rules for several years and will be providing more information on our collection as well as other ionteresting slide rules built over the years.
Clocks and other time keeping instruments are on of our greatest interests. Many fine examples will be explored.
Scales and balances need weight or standards both to calibrate the scale and to use the balance. Some of the early weights are very interesting both in terms of design and shape as well as materials used.
Have you ever seen a mechanical calculator. Curta was the best example of a mechanical calculator although others built many examples ranging from simple to very complex. These are engineering marvels. We are alsways interested in purchasing unique examples, including most Curta's. Send an email with photos and asking price.
Before the weather channel, there was still a need for weather forecasting. Many fine examples of antique instruments are available.
